The key to a successful reform: judicial integrity above all

The April edition of the foreign policy newsletter developed by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Moldova (FES) and the Foreign Policy Association (APE) is dedicated to the justice reform in the Republic of Moldova.

The justice sector must become the "zero priority" of the Republic of Moldova – this is one of the conclusions of our interlocutors in this edition, who went into details about what justice reform should look like in the Republic of Moldova, a state decimated for three decades by the scourge of endemic corruption.

The guests of this edition are Olesea Stamate, presidential adviser and former Minister of Justice in the Sandu cabinet and Ion Sturza, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, currently a businessman. The newsletter also presents an editorial written by Mariana Rață, TV8 journalist, specialized in justice and who has been writing investigations in this field for years, and the opinion on the topic of the expert Iulian Rusu, deputy executive director on legal issues with IPRE.
