Foreign Policy Newsletter 07/221 July 2024 - Reconstruction of Ukraine: future plans or necessary pre-established plans

The July edition of the FES /APE Foreign Policy Newsletter is dedicated to the war situation in Ukraine and future post-conflict reconstruction scenarios for the country. The edition presents an interview with the expert from Chernivtsi, Marin Gherman, who goes into the structural essence of the current problems in Ukraine, a country that will have to make efforts for structural and sometimes draconian reforms, even in times of war. In the interview with the director of Experts for Security and Global Affairs (ESGA), Angela Grămada, we discuss the help that Romania and the Republic of Moldova give to Ukraine, but also about the possibility of the three states working together in the future for the reconstruction of Ukraine, and further for the development of the region. In his signature article for the International Politics and Society Journal (IPG), the independent economic analyst Brian Milakovsky explains why Ukraine's reconstruction can be the domestic post-war economic engine that Kyiv needs.
