The new edition of the FES/APE Foreign Policy Bulletin is dedicated to the beginning of the mandate of the Government led by Vasile Tofan and examines its priorities, challenges, and the conditions required for implementing its reform agenda.

The edition explores the objectives assumed by the new Executive – improving state efficiency, reforming public administration, revitalizing the economy, attracting investments, and accelerating European integration – in a context marked by economic pressures, institutional vulnerabilities, and increased expectations from society.

The July edition hosts an analysis by Denis Cenușă, along with interviews with experts Viorel Gîrbu and Igor Munteanu. They addresses topics such as fiscal reform, the performance of public institutions, the efficient use of resources, and the importance of depoliticizing the administration for the success of reforms. The editorial by Mădălin Necșuțu highlights that the main challenge of the new mandate lies in the ability of state institutions to transform European commitments into effective public policies and tangible results.
