The risks and challenges of the European integration referendum from 20 October 2024, as well as the political and social implications of its results – this is the topic of the September edition of the FES/APE foreign policy bulletin. The edition contains two interviews with Valeriu Pașa, the director of the WatchDog Community, and with Vadim Pistrinciuc, the executive director of the Institute for Strategic Initiatives, IPIS, in which we discuss fakes promoted by Russian propaganda, but also what civil society is doing for correct information of citizens regarding the relationship between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union and the referendum on the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the EU. In an analysis by Angela Gramada, director of Experts for Security and Global Affairs (ESGA), we present several scenarios regarding the results of the referendum and their political and social implications for the Republic of Moldova. The edition's editorial is signed by Madalin Necsutu, a journalist with TVR Moldova and Balkan Insight. We invite you to virtually browse the pages of our September edition of the newsletter, available HERE.
