More than 150 women leaders from the whole country participated on Friday, January 26, in the networking event dedicated to the graduates of the Leadership Academy "Women for good governance", carried out by the "Friedrich Ebert" Foundation in Moldova and the "Institutum Virtutes Civilis", with financial support of the European Union and the "Friedrich Ebert" Foundation. Most of the participants were involved in the general local elections of November 2023 and obtained public positions of mayors, local or district councilors. Through their activity, these women have demonstrated to their communities that they can responsibly assume a leadership role in the process of change and development of Moldovan settlements.

During the event, the participants had the opportunity to share their successes and challenges in the context of the mandates obtained following the local elections, thus contributing to a strong and solidary community.

From 2021, the Leadership Academy is held within the project "Partnerships for women's leadership and good governance", implemented by the "Friedrich Ebert" Moldova Foundation and the "Institutum Virtutes Civilis" AO, with the financial support of the European Union and the "Friedrich Ebert" Foundation ".
