The December issue of the FES/APE Foreign Policy Newsletter summarizes the most important political, economic and social moments for the Republic of Moldova in 2024, as well as some projections for the future in 2025. In an interview with the Executive Director of Expert-Grup, Adrian Lupușor, we discussed the economic developments of the Republic of Moldova and how the country can perform in the coming year. A central topic - gas deliveries to the Transnistrian region from 2025 - was analyzed by energy expert Sergiu Tofilat, who explained why this situation is not only a crisis but also an opportunity for Chisinau. Journalist Lina Grâu signed the editorial of the edition in which she describes, from her perspective, Moldova's achievements in 2024 and the storms that Chisinau has weathered, as well as the challenges that lie ahead in 2025. Last but not least, Mihai Mogâldea, Deputy Executive Director of the Institute for European Policy and Reform (IPRE), draws several pertinent conclusions about the outcome of the presidential elections and referendum and what awaits us in the run-up to the parliamentary elections in 2025, on which Moldova's European future vitally depends.
