The State of the Country Report is an annual publication that analyses the economic, social, political and geopolitical developments in the key development sectors of the Republic of Moldova. The report reflects on three dimensions that define the state of the country, namely the well-being of the population, the business environment and governance. The Report provides a set of relevant indicators for assessing the progress and challenges Moldova is facing and identifies policy priorities aimed at fostering sustainable development and improving peoples’ lives. The Report serves as a national platform for public debate across government, the private sector, civil society and the international community with a view to policy development and prioritization of the key public sectors. The State of the Country Report is a joint project of the Expert-Grup and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung.
